On my Facebook wall I post:
"I am the way" He said;
He didn't say the "only" way.
He didn't say the "only" way.
A religious person, I believe a Christian Pastor,
was fast to react:
Dan Lodovica "No one comes to the Father but by Me." No?
Arlen Kali I
am aware of that line, but one thing is certain he didn't say "only";
and although I do believe that he is the way, I also believe that there
are other way.
Rose Schlater THE means one and only like, I am THE mother of 4 boys. Just saying.
Jacqueline Gamueda Sir Arlen, be careful of the other way...

Jesus, being a bona fide representative of God during that time and
there are many of them across the ages, is right in saying "No one comes
to the Father but by me." We can't approach the Father but by the bona
fide representative of God. Still, Lord Jesus is a rare representative
of God because he was always with the Father ever since and he alone has
that "special privilege."
Sabbath Canon The
old testament says "we" in terms of god , the Catholic says there's
only one God ? It's been changed by Constantine cause he thought he is
god ! To keep his power over the people .

I think he is the only one.
15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. 16 For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities-all things were created through him and for him. 17 And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent. 19 For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, 20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross. (Colossians 1:15-20, ESV)

and conflict are often rooted in differences between people of
different races and religions. We all need to respect people of
different races as well as people of different faiths and religions. We
need to unite by recognizing our common desire
and need for a harmonious society—a society in which we and our
children and families and friends and communities can all live our lives
in peace and harmony. Regardless of our race or religion, we all want
and need such social harmony.
Without respect for people of different races or ethnicities or religions, how can we have a peaceful and harmonious society or world? And without a harmonious society, how can there be the necessary economic development and atmosphere conducive to spiritual happiness and self-realization?

Arlen Kali Practically,
every process of religion claim that their process is the only way. In
the different sect of Christianity alone that very partisan claim is
present. Each one of them is thinking that their sect is the only way
.....This post is based on the realization that there is but one God,
the father of all, with many names; Love for God is the only way; and it
has nothing to do with partisan religion.

loving the way you all are discussing a very opinionated subject with
the respect an restraint that is called for. We as a whole will never
totally agree on certain things..nor should we. But to handle it with
maturity an respect for one another...that's what should be. Peace/love
to you all
Arlen Kali Jesus
Christ's teaching (Love for God) is the only way, which is also the
teachings of Saints that lived before and after the advent of Jesus.
....Christ (His teaching) is the only way, but he is not the only one
that teaches love for God which is the only way to God's Kingdom.
Doy Diamse Nacpil Inserting (His teaching)...is another thing in interpreting the Bible.
You will observe that your insertion is not related to the whole passage.... So for me, its a wrong interpretation...but yes its your interpretation...

Arlen Kali "If
you know The Father you will know me because I come from him." Christ
speaks in parables, thus there are countless interpretations of the
Bible. Some are bonafide some are not. Ultimately, it's not what we read
but what we understand, the realization (by God's mercy), on what we read that truly matters. Sincerity is the key to finding the only way. Thank you, Sir Doy Diamse Nacpil, for the Passages and very relevant commentary. Godbless
Doy Diamse Nacpil Likewise.
Thanks for your spirit of inclusivity... Yet from my learning on Bible
Interpretation , that passage is not parable. Its a direct literal
message from our Lord Jesus Christ.
Arlen Kali The world is too marginalize to not be inclusive; after all, we are all children of one loving Father. I wish you well, Sir.
